As of 2010, AutoCAD, like most other major graphics software applications, offers a large number of commands in a complex menu system, which is generated from a set of « events ». These events cover a broad range of actions, including user input (keystrokes and mouse clicks) and windows-specific actions such as opening and closing and resizing the various windows. What’s New In AutoCAD?
Previously known as Drawboard, Markup Assist and Markup Import support both creating and importing drawings.

The AutoCAD editing window now provides a way to view multiple document layouts.

Save a Drawing File
If you’ve saved a drawing in the past, it may have been saved as a DWG drawing file. In AutoCAD, you can now save your drawings as native.dwg file format. You can choose between a native DWG file and a native.dwgx file when you save a drawing. (video: 3:19 min.)
The command to open a.dwg file for editing now also opens.dwgx files for editing in addition to.dwg files. (video: 2:33 min.)
